Schools Equestrian Games Event update 21.10.2019
We are Hugely grateful to all the schools that have signed up to the SEG this year and it’s been wonderful to see so many happy children and a pleasure to deal with parents and team managers.
We just wanted to give you an update of what’s to come for next year, so you can get excited for 2020.
Whilst November and December will bring quiet months we have lots in the planning stages for the SEG 2020 calendar. Please be patient and we will send these dates and details as soon as we have.
Eventing
We will be running the championships which were cancelled in October; in the spring in March. We are just confirming the date and can confirm this will be at Broadway as scheduled.
Eventing 2020 qualifiers will run at the same venues as last year as well as some additions, dates will be released shortly.
Arena Eventing
We are delighted to announce that in 2020 we have secured Gatcombe Festival of eventing on 9th August as the final for the 90cm and will be running qualifiers for this from January to July.
The qualifiers will also include classes at 70 80 and 100 cm and will decide if this runs as a point league or we can run a Championship event for these heights.
Showjumping
In 2020 we will be running a cumulative points system at a few different venues from 50cm to 110cm. Dates and prizes will be announced when confirmed.
