British Connemara Pony Society Eventing League 2018

BRITISH CONNEMARA PONY SOCIETY EVENTING LEAGUE 2018

The BCPS is extremely excited to launch a new eventing league for 2018 in conjunction with Horse Events.

The series is open to registered pure and part-bred Connemara ponies. Qualifiers will be run at 80cm, 90cm and 100cm at a variety of events during the season. A combination will qualify for the championship in September if they post a top 10 placing or a double clear. If Competitors which they can compete at One level above what they qualified at but are not allowed to drop down a level.

In order to qualify for and compete at the championship, riders must be either full, junior or performance members of the BCPS. There will be a box to tick on each entry form to indicate your eligibility for this series.

We believe that this is a really exciting opportunity to showcase the Connemara pony as a performance animal,” says BCPS Chairman Henrietta Knight. “We hope that it will appeal to current members as well as encouraging new people to join the Society.”

There are currently eight qualifying events, culminating in the championship at Swalcliffe Park, Oxfordshire, on Sunday 30th September. Please keep an eye on the BCPS and Horse Events websites, as more qualifying events may be added throughout the season.
