Danethorpe Hill is a small hamlet nestled in a secluded area two miles north of Newark-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire, close to the Lincolnshire border.
The course extends over 70 acres of undulating fields and trees, an idyllic setting for visitors wishing to train or compete.
The Course:
The large area available for training is ideal for competitions and schooling. The course is designed to give horses enough space to jump with a forward rhythm, without compromising on a wide variety of different fences.
Our jumps provide a range of difficulties, to suit all standards of horse / pony and their riders.
For beginners, we have a lovely inviting woodland trail including a number of small logs and palisades.
For those with more experience, the course offers a choice of water fences and also many larger obstacles of British Eventing standard.
We are always looking to update and improve our facilities, and every year more fences are added. We also have a large, all-weather floodlit manège for our clients to use at no extra cost.
