The following classes are available for the Old Berkshire Hunt Branch of the Pony Club OPEN FESTIVE SHOWJUMPING With OBHPC Mini Major!!

ENTRY FEES: 

All classes (not including Class 5)   £15 per combination per class

Class 5:   £25 per combination of two horses and two riders

All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis

If you would like to edit your horse or rider details before the closing date of the event please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ tab.

ROSETTE’S     1^st – 6^th (Individuals)

Prize Giving after each class on the day (dismounted or mounted depending on times)

Approximate start times will be available on Wednesday 27^th December 2023 at horse-events.co.uk

All classes will be run as single phase with the second half of the course to be timed.

Course Walks will take place prior to the start and at regular intervals throughout the day.

No entries can be made after the start of the relevant class.

All classes are open to adults and children.

Combinations cannot take part in more than two classes per day. Horses cannot take part more than once in each class or in more than three classes on the day.

Please remember to bring your own Number Bib or Bridle Number

RULES

• The Judge’s decision is final. Objections must be made in writing within 10 minutes of the results being published with a deposit of £20, refunded if objection is upheld.
• All Classes will run in accordance with The Pony Club Show Jumping 2023 Rule Book 

• PUBLIC SAFETY AND EVENT LIABILITY
  • When not being ridden all horses/ponies must be kept to the horse box park or collecting rings. No exercising in the car/lorry park, or among spectators.
  • No lunging in the lorry park.
  • No horses/ponies to be tied to trailers or lorries.
  • All hay and droppings to be cleared before departure
  • No dogs allowed.
  • All horses and ponies must be fully vaccinated against equine flu within the past 12 months, according to the Pony Club Vaccination rules. Spot checks may be made.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry, restrict entries and make alterations when necessary.

DISCLAIMER 

• Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
• The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
• All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Old Berkshire Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.

Withdrawals and Refunds: 

Entries will close on Friday 22^nd December.  There will be no refunds after the close of entries without a vet’s or doctor’s certificate.

In the event of cancellation, £5 of the entry fee will be retained to defray costs.

After the relevant closing date no substitution may be made of horses or riders except in the case of illness, lameness or other unavoidable circumstances which must be certified in writing to the secretary. No substitutions once the class starts.
