Incorporating British Eventing ACE Qualifier

Entries open in Nov and will close 8th December  2023 or earlier if full

 

A course of show jumps then straight on to the simulated cross country course. The winner will be the competitor with the lowest score nearest to the optimum time.

COURSE WALK

COURSE WALK-  There will be opportunities to walk the courses throughout  the day. Course walk times will be shown when times are published.

Withdrawals & Refunds

WITHDRAWALS ~ are to be confirmed in writing (email is fine) to entries secretary 9th  December 2023

REFUNDS ~ LandS reserve the right to retain £5.00 for administration costs unless the entry can be replaced.  A waiting list will be kept for all classes which fill

In case of abandonment, please call 07976 273289.

In the unlikely event of abandonment, £10 from every entry will be kept by the organiser to cover cancellation costs; all  the remaining monies will be refunded.

 

GENERAL RULES

GENERAL RULES

  1. Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted and no fixed peaks to be worn. It is the riders’ responsibility to ensure that hat’s and body protectors are up to the required standard as set out by British Eventing, Pony Club and British Riding Clubs.
  2. Body Protectors must be worn.
  3. 3. Any horse/pony which is considered to be unsound, unfit or unhealthy or unsafe by a Judge or the Organiser will be excluded from the competition without refund of entry fee.

OBJECTIONS ~ Anyone wishing to make an objection must do so in writing within 30 minutes of the incident happening along with a £50 deposit. The deposit will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained

HEALTH & SAFETY ~ The organiser of this event has taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the health and safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards connected with this event.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY ~ Save for death or injury by the negligence of the organiser of anyone for whom they are in law responsible, LandS Eventing, for themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the Event  do not accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury, illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or statutory duty in any way whatsoever of themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the event   or otherwise.

The Organiser reserves the right to cancel any class, divide any class, alter advertised times or refuse an entry.

British Eventing Terms and Condition’s

You agree that the information you have provided in connection with your entry will be disclosed to British Eventing.

Should you receive an injury as the direct result of an accident occurring whilst you are participating in any event organised by an affiliated event organiser, any medical reports relating to your condition will be passed to British Eventing. Any medical reports passed to British Eventing will be held on your records and passed in confidence to the UK Transport Research Lab for the purposes of safety analyses.

The competitor confirms that they have appropriate third-party insurance cover in place for the day of the competition for which they are entering.

The competitor agrees to comply with all the relevant BE rules as detailed in the BE Rules and Members’ handbook, including those relating to vaccinations & BEFAR (BEF Anti-Doping Rules).

By Entering you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions and those relating to entries detailed in the Rules and Members’ Handbook and to give consent for the organiser to share contact details with British Eventing.

 

Event Booking Information

This event is being organised by LandS Eventing Ltd. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.

As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.

We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.

Venue Information

Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex is situated in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. Onley Grounds is not just your regular competition centre, it is also home to Rugby Polo Club and Rugby Polocrosse Club. On top of this the site has its own separate satellite livery yard at Onley Fields Farm as well as being the host of Onley Grounds Farm Shop, Onley Horse Box Servicing and Repairs, Onley Grounds Equine Vets, The Tack Den, The Rug Den (Onsite Rug Washing) and Willoughby Park Polo Gear.

Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex hosts a huge array of facilities available for hire at very competitive rates.

We have three all-weather arenas which are floodlit and made with the latest Andrews Bowen waxed surfaces. This excellent surface provides a dust free, secure and forgiving surface that reduces repetitive strain injury. The arenas are all inter-connected with an elevated viewing platform, maximising the atmosphere for both the crowd and the competitors. Our arenas are very popular for a huge range of activities, from all things equestrian to dog agility and football! Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

There are two indoor arenas,  25m x 60m and one international 40m x 77m.The floodlit outdoor arena is 100m x 45m. A full course of BSJA show jumps are made available to hire after each show jumping competition, these dates can be found on the calendar. Dressage boards and working hunter jumps can also be hired.

The arenas can be hired on an hourly basis, or for the whole day (POA).

•Large indoor: £40 / hour for up to two horses, £5 per each additional horse.

•Small indoor: £30 / hour for up to two horses, £5 per each additional horse.

•Outdoor:  £30 / hour for up to two horses, £5 per each additional horse.
