In full cross-country gear take to the arena to jump a continual round of show jumps then straight onto real cross country fences including water, banks, drops and ditches (relevant to the competition level), the final fence will be back to a show jump ‘Joker’ fence to finish.
The optimum time will be judged on the cross-country phase only, closest to the optimum time.

ENTRIES
Entries will be limited so that all height classes will run in daylight.
The competition will start at 9am, with 20-30 minutes coursework time between classes.

- Please make your entry online via former.horse-events.co.uk. No entry is accepted without the payment.
- Note that entrants do not need to be members of the NSEA
- All entries will be taken on a first come first served basis and will close when full. Entries close the Wednesday before each competition. Times are made available the Thursday before each competition.
- Open to school teams of 3 – 4 members and school individuals.
- Riders may only compete once in a team, so may not ride two horses in the same team.
- Best three team member scores to count for each competition and league table. • Please indicate your school on entry form and whether each entry is a team member or individual.
- There will be no refunds for entries made after the closing date.
- Entries include Vat (Vat No 608 417 053). Any alterations to entries (ie change of rider/class/day £12 per change).
- Before entries close, any changes should be requested toinfo@horse-events.co.uk. Any changes made after the close of entries should be requested to astonlewalls.ec@gmail.com.

The competition will start no later than 9am with 20-minute course walks between classes.

Team rosettes to 3rd place, all 4 team members to receive rosettes. Individual rosettes to 10th place. Individual prizes to 3rd place to be collected from Secretary’s at Log Cabin by Arenas.

Refunds & Changes / Editing your Booking
Withdrawals and refunds
No refunds within 7 days of the events. No alterations to your entry to be made after the closing date.
Refunds minus £10 admin fee for withdrawals made 7 days prior to the event.
Event Cancellation
If the event is cancelled for any reason, all entries will be refunded minus a £10 cancellation fee.
PLEASE NOTE THE BOOKING FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE AND NOT INCLUDED IN OUR ADMIN FEES.

KBIS Arena Evening Qualifier:
Top 6 qualify unless there are under 15 entries then its top 4. Qualification cards with rosettes are presented at the event.
BLOXHAM CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING POINTS AND ELIGIBILITY
- Individual qualifiers to be horse/rider combinations from the series.
- Qualifying team members should be horse/rider combinations from the team series at that height. Unavailable or incapacitated team members may be substituted only if the horse/rider combination has competed in the series this season without elimination and at no more than one class height above the team entry. A maximum of two eligible team members may be substituted per team.
- Top three team members’ scores to contribute to team place in league table. Team points will be awarded on a sliding scale of 3 points for 1st place to 1 point for 3rd place for each class at each competition. Individual points will be awarded on a sliding scale of 10 points for 1st place to 1 point for 10th place for each class at each competition. The top 10 teams and top 30 riders in each Class (most points throughout season) will go through to the Championship. An updated league table can be found at www.bloxhamschool.com
- The competition on championships day will follow the normal format for all qualifying teams and individuals entered with one set of Championship rosettes being awarded for both teams and individuals. The points won on the day will be added to the cumulative points to determine the final placings. In the event of a tie the higher place will go to the individual/team who is closest to the optimum time.

SPECIAL NOTES
In the very unlikely event of abandonment, entries will be transferred to the next Event Challenge date.
Objections must be made in writing within 30 minutes of the incident together with a £50.00 deposit. The deposit will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained.
RESERVATION OF RIGHT
The Organisers reserve the right to cancel any class or section or divide any class, to transfer competitors between sections of a class, after the advertised times, and to refuse any entry.
RULES
RULES
- Horses/Ponies must be 4 years of age or older. British Eventing points do not apply to this competition. Hard hats fastened at the chin must be worn at all times when mounted to specifications detailed in British Eventing rules. Body protectors must be worn. Any horse or pony, which is considered to be unsound, unfit or unhealthy by a Judge or the Organisers will be excluded from further competition without refund of entry fee.
- There is no start fee payable on the day.
- Any horse or pony can only be competed once in any class and can only be ridden by one rider. If a second rider rides the same pony they will be judged HC.
- Horse/pony/rider combinations may only compete in two consecutive classes per day.
- A combination may not compete in a class more than 30cms lower than the maximum height at which they have previously competed.
- Whip may only be used twice at any occasion, in line with BE rules, and should not be used in anger or frustration.
- Competitors and parents will always respect judges and Competitors must be 7 years or over.
- If a judge deems a competitor to be a danger to themselves or their horse/pony’s welfare they reserve the right to insist that the combination retires.
- Please print three copies of your number(s) – Two for each rider’s number bib and one to be displayed in your lorry windscreen for identification.
- No stopwatches.

This event is being organised by Aston Le Walls . Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Located at Washbrook Farm between Banbury and Daventry, and close to both the M40 and M1 motorways, Aston le Walls is easily accessible from all parts of the UK. Set within 300 acres of grassland and designed exclusively for the sport of Equestrianism it boasts some of the best competition and training facilities in the UK including:

General Rules
HEALTH AND SAFETY
The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all Officials and Stewards.
Paramedics in attendance. Any Rider who falls off, whether in a collecting ring or in competition, must be checked by Paramedics before they remount.
Government Guidelines must be always adhered to.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Except for the negligence of the Organisers and their agents or other for whom in law they are responsible, the Organisers do not accept responsibility in respect of any accident, loss, damage, injury, illness or disease caused to or suffered by any horse, owner, rider, spectator, sponsor and others present on the site of the Event and their property vehicles and accoutrements.
