No extra team charge. Teams consist of 3 or 4, may be of mixed gender but in same class.
All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class basis.

• If you would like to edit your details before the closing date of the event, please login to your Horse Events account and edit your booking under the ‘MY BOOKING’ Tab
• If you would like to change the class, please email info@horse-events.co.uk and if there is space available, we will do this for you.

• Final Briefing Notes will be issued with times.
• Please report to the phase Steward in time to be (visually) checked before your allotted time.
• Please follow all directional markings and all instructions from our stewards and volunteers. It is the competitor’s responsibility to be in the right place at the right time.
• We will be running live scoring via Pony Club Results and a WhatsApp Group for Team Manager queries on the day.
• There will be catering facilities available.
• No dogs allowed at the school.
• We hope to be able to give everyone a great, fun competition.

There will be rosettes for 1 – 6th placed teams and individuals, and medals for best swim, shoot and run in each class

SHOOTING:
• As per the The Pony Club Tetrathlon 2023 Rule Book.
• All competitors must have been signed off by their Team Manager
• Guns must be brought to tables in their boxes and opened only on command of the firing point steward.
• They must be boxed again before the competitor leaves the firing point.
• Guns may only be carried by those over 18 years or under the supervision of a person over 21 years.
• Pellets must be the correct, flat headed variety.
• When not in use, guns must be stored in a secure place (ie, in a vehicle, out of sight). Any breach of safety rules may result in disqualification.
• Please ensure competitors are aware that footwear must not cover the ankle (ie, no boots). Long trousers must be worn and there should be no flesh showing beneath the trouser hem.
• Will be held in the Sports Hall; no outdoor shoes allowed so bring clean trainers.
SWIM:
• All competitors must have been signed off as safe to swim.
• Beanies may use swimming aids as long as they are secure (ie no woggles), any aids will incur 250 penalties to ensure those swimming without aids aren’t unduly penalised.
• Competitors can dive as long as they meet the Competitive Start criteria.
RUN:
• Will be held on the Athletics track, so please allow extra time to get there – can take 5- 10mins.
• Numbers will be supplied.
ENTRY CONDITIONS
HEALTH AND SAFETY:
Organisers of events take reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
LEGAL LIABILITY:
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of events or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
OBJECTIONS:
Any objections regarding the scoring for each discipline may ONLY be made by the TEAM MANAGER, and within 20 minutes of the scores being displayed, preferably via WhatsApp.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, full refunds will be given (minus the booking fees paid)
The Show organisers reserve the right to cancel any class with fewer than 3 entries.
Withdrawals received before 6pm 29th November 2023 will be refunded the entry fee less a booking fee.
Event Booking Information
This event is being organised by Area 12 Tetrathlon. Equine Bookings is acting as the booking agent for this event, enabling you to book online, for which you will be charged a booking fee per space which will be added to your cart.
As booking agents, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of any event for which you purchase event tickets for. Our responsibilities are limited to providing the online platform to enable you to purchase tickets. The booking fee is the separate non-refundable charge we make to you for facilitating the booking. Your contract is held with the Promoter/event organiser.
We only share your data with that of the third party organiser of the specific event you entered. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Organisers of the events published on the Horse Events website have all agreed to the following statement before we published the event and give them access to your data for the purpose of entering their event.
